Position: Reserve General Manager

Location: Addo, Eastern Cape (On-Site)

• Setting of Revenue and Expense Budgets for all units
• General Management of the facility including Grounds Maintenance and Catering
• Overseeing the operations of Lodges, tents and staff village facilities
• Health and Safety compliance of venue, grounds and staff
• Preventative Maintenance Plan to ensure safe and optimum use of operating equipment
• General Repairs and Maintenance Schedules
• Human Resource Management including staff training, discipline, recruitment and induction
• Implementation of Work-flow Systems to improve productivity
• Administration – daily revenue reports and checklists
• Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for lodges
• Improve Guest Service standards
• Daily Room Inspections to identify maintenance issues
• Stock-taking procedures and controls as well as correct implementation thereof
• Implementing Service standard for accommodation, catering, maintenance
• Dealing with Guest Complaints and implementing remedial measures
• 3 Years Game farm management experience
• Diploma in Wildlife conservation and Farm management would be an advantage
• Must have excellent people skills in order to interact with guests on hunting excursions
• Formal and Recognized Professional Hunting Qualification – Certified
• Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport
