Position: Groups Consultant - Inbound Tourism

Leading Inbound Tour Operator – Specializing in Southern Africa, including SA, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.

• Our client is looking for a Groups Team Leader to be based at their offices in CPT Southern Suburbs.

Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years exp. as a Groups Team Leader - dealing with clients (quotes / proposals / customer relations)
• Experience in providing solutions based on operational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
• Excellent computer skills MS WORD, MS EXCEL, OUTLOOK
• Experience in other computer software a plus (Tourplan, Wetu, etc.)
• Fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Product knowledge essential – 3–5-star Hotels/Lodges across Southern Africa – Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia
• Team Leading exp. – Have led a team of consultants, proven track record.
• As Groups Team Leader, will be responsible for overseeing and managing all functions of your Team – Groups Itineraries, from quoting to invoicing.
