PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Finances:

  • Ensure accurate reporting of Financials
  • Extracting of Tourplan reports to manage real costs in bookings and margins
  • Ensure correct margins are being reported on bookings by means of various operational reports including costs loaded into prior closed periods
  • Create and Monitor Weekly reports
  • Clearing of flights by means of Intercompany Transactions
  • Assist Financial Reporting Manager with weekly and monthly reporting
  • Creation and Analysis of Profit and Loss Statement
  • Analyse the Debtors Ageing and control there-of including sending Monthly Claims to Agents
  • Compile monthly financial review within TDM and Dertour’s financials
  • Assist with auditors and Operational queries

Teamwork:

  • To build and maintain good relationships
  • Flexibility to assist colleagues out of normal office hours, when and if required

Business Communication:

  • Ensure FRM is regularly informed about Financial and Operational performance
  • Communication on an Operational level with Team Leader’s regarding profitability and sales

Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Matric
  • Minimum 1 year experience in reporting
  • Sage 300 knowledge (or similar)
  • Financial knowledge & Strong Excel skills (Intermediate+)
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Tourplan knowledge would be advantageous
