YearBeyond Invites Tourism Businesses to Access Work-Ready Entry-Level Talent

Industry & Government News

YearBeyond is inviting tourism businesses to connect with a pool of work-ready young people who are seeking entry-level opportunities in the sector.

A national youth service programme, YearBeyond supports more than 3,000 young people each year by helping them build workplace skills, confidence and practical experience. The programme’s alumni have completed 10 months of full-time work in the social services sector, as well as structured work-readiness training focused on administration, communication and customer-oriented skills.

For tourism businesses, the programme offers access to vetted, resilient and motivated candidates at no cost. Opportunities may include YES placements, internships, entry-level roles or other short- and long-term opportunities, with businesses able to use their own selection processes and contracts.

Tourism remains a powerful sector for youth employment and skills development. By opening pathways for YearBeyond alumni, tourism businesses can support meaningful youth employment while strengthening their own talent pipelines.
