Partner with YES to Host Tourism Graduates: Salaries Fully Funded
SATSA is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for tourism businesses. Through a partnership between the Department of Tourism and the Youth Employment Service (YES), members can host tourism graduates in tourism-related roles for 12 months, with salaries fully funded.
Your only costs are a once-off Registration Fee and a Monitoring & Evaluation Fee, which cover:
- Programme onboarding and setup
- Monthly support and compliance reporting
- Digital learning via the YES App
- Graduate engagement and final close-out support
Graduates are recruited nationally and must hold a tourism-related qualification. Participating businesses are required to provide basic tools of trade and a quality learning environment.

Join the Information Session on 1 December at 11h00
SATSA members are invited to an online information session which will explore how the programme helps tourism businesses build capacity while creating meaningful 12-month work opportunities for youth.
Participants will be guided through the full programme overview, including registration requirements, host responsibilities, benefits for participating businesses, and responses to frequently asked questions. The session will demonstrate how the programme delivers a seamless registration experience, connects businesses with motivated and work-ready youth, and helps strengthen the sector through fresh talent and innovative ideas.
This session is recommended for SATSA members who are interested in hosting youth and contributing to sector growth while creating pathways to employment for young South Africans.
