Journey Overview

The itinerary begins in Antananarivo, where guests spend a night adjusting before heading east to Andasibe. Guests explore Analamazaotra National Park and Vakona Private Reserve, as well as Lemur Island, where several habituated species can be observed at close range.

After returning to the capital for an overnight stay, the journey continues with a scheduled charter flight to Maroantsetra and a coastal boat transfer to the remote Masoala Peninsula. Here, guests spend three nights at an eco-conscious forest lodge located between the Indian Ocean and primary rainforest. Days are filled with guided walks through coastal and lowland forest, where sightings of red-ruffed lemurs, helmet vangas, and dwarf chameleons are common.
