Get Involved: Contribute a Prize to the Sizzling South African Holiday Giveaway

The Saunter, a private non-profit organisation that promotes South Africa as a holiday destination, is inviting SATSA members to take part in its upcoming national competition. The Saunter exists to showcase the best of South Africa and to help grow tourism into and within the country. You can learn more at www.thesaunter.co.za.

After running a highly successful giveaway last year with Go South Africa, which attracted 84,700 entries, The Saunter is launching a new competition in December. It will run for five months, and you are invited to contribute a 5-star or 4-star stay to the prize pool.

Current prizes span KZN, the Free State, the Battlefields region, the Eastern Cape Wild Coast, the Garden Route and several Western Cape regions including the Overberg, Cape Town and the Karoo. Many include activities to highlight what makes each area special. The current total prize value is approximately R550,000.

The Saunter is still looking for 5-star and 4-star game lodges, as well as accommodation on the West Coast and in the Winelands. Additional prizes in the regions already represented will also help create compelling combined holidays for both domestic and international travellers.
