Call for Applications: SATSA Business Incubator Year 5 (2026–2027)

Black-owned small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) are invited to apply for the fifth intake of the SATSA Business Incubator Programme for 2026–2027.

The programme provides selected businesses with between 6 and 12 months of tailored business growth and development support, depending on their individual needs. Participation is provided at no cost to the incubatee.

The programme is funded by SATSA members and programme partners as part of their Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the programme, an applicant must:

• Be a registered South African company or business entity.
• Have at least 51% Black South African ownership.
• Qualify as an Exempt Micro Enterprise (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE), with an annual turnover of less than R50 million.
• Have been operational for at least one year.
• Preferably operate within, or supply products or services to, the tourism and hospitality sector or its broader value chain. Applicants should clearly explain this connection in their applications.

• Businesses that meet the eligibility criteria and wish to be considered for the programme must complete the online application form using the link below.
• Applicants should follow the prompts on the application form and upload all supporting documents currently available.
• Please note that proof of B-BBEE status must be submitted in the form of a currently valid B-BBEE sworn affidavit, where applicable. A B-BBEE certificate should not be submitted in place of the required affidavit.

Applications and supporting documents received after the closing date may not be considered.
