AWOL Tours, a Cape Town-based tour operator, is on the lookout for dedicated guides who have a genuine love for leading hiking and cycling adventures. If you reside in Cape Town and can be available on short notice for freelance or fixed-term contract opportunities – particularly for Cape Town Day tours – they want to hear from you. Fluency in German is a plus!

While possessing a Professional Driving Permit is advantageous, it's not a strict requirement. However, holding a valid tour guide badge for the Western Cape is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in order to provide exceptional experiences for our clients. The compensation rate is negotiable and will be based on your level of expertise.
